What You Need to Apply
Four essentials for every UK ETA application — plus the additional information the application process may require.
Passport
A valid passport from an ETA-eligible nationality that the traveller intends to use for travel. The ETA is electronically linked to this passport.
Applicant Photograph
A suitable recent digital image of the applicant meeting applicable requirements — full face, plain background, neutral expression.
Email Address
A working email address to receive application communications, confirmation and status updates.
Payment Method
A valid debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), or Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link where available.
